Our client is a leading provider of Electronic Trading Solutions that offer a technically advanced integrated cross asset trading system designed for Financial Institutions, Exchanges and Brokers. Following the success of their trading products in the European Energy and Commodities wholesale derivatives marketplace they are now looking for a Sales Executive to sell their products into a defined UK and European territory.
Ideally the most qualified individual would have 18 months to 2 years experience selling products or services within Investment Banking or Hedge Fund community and have an understanding of trading and technology.

In this exciting and newly created position you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from cold calling to negotiating with C level influencers but with the backing of an excellent and experienced technical presales team and product specialists, you will have the advantage of selling a truly innovative and market leading product working to attainable targets. You will also be given structured sales training and mentored by senior sales staff.

Responsibilities:
• Planning and prioritizing sales activities and prospect contact towards exceeding annual revenue targets.
• Effectively and efficiently managing the sales territory and sales process, including sales planning, prospecting, needs analysis, proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, and closing.
• Ability to inspire and energize others with engaging presentation and strong communication skills. Effectively communicate value proposition and differentiators to prospects
• Passionately represent our company, our solutions and success to prospects, customers, and partners.

Qualifications:
• At least 18 months experience in selling products or solutions to the financial services industry (particularly Investment Banks, Fund Managers and Hedge Funds).
• Experience with selling at the executive level to large accounts .
• Understanding of the financial service industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills .
