Our client is a provider of Advanced Execution and Smart Order Routing technology that offers a truly integrated cross asset trading and order management system designed for sell-side institutions and their buy-side clients. Following the development and launch of several new products they are now looking for a Sales Executive to sell their products in to a defined UK or European territory.
Ideally the most qualified individual would have been selling a front office technology solutions (OMS and /or EMS) but excellent sales people who have experience selling products or services within Investment Banks, Investment Managers or Hedge Funds will also be of interest.

In this exciting and newly created position you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from cold calling to negotiating with C level influencers but with the backing of an excellent and experienced technical presales team and product specialists, you will have the advantage of selling a truly innovative and market leading product working to attainable targets with an excellent basic salary and commission package.

Responsibilities:
• Planning and prioritizing sales activities and prospect contact towards exceeding annual revenue targets.
• Effectively and efficiently managing the sales territory and sales process, including sales planning, prospecting, needs analysis, proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, and closing.
• Ability to inspire and energize others with engaging presentation and strong communication skills. Effectively communicate value proposition and differentiators to prospects
• Passionately represent our company, our solutions and success to prospects, customers, and partners.

Qualifications:
• At least 18 months experience in selling products or solutions to the financial services industry (particularly Investment Banks, Fund Managers and Hedge Funds).
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue quota in a solution sales role.
• Experience with selling at the executive level to large accounts .
• Understanding of the financial service industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills .
