Excellent opportunity for dynamic, ambitious and tenacious individual to join this niche recruiter working with Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, IT and Financial Markets Technology Vendors.

Riversdale Consulting has spent the last 8 years working with some of the worlds leading banks, hedge funds and financial software vendors providing a variety of recruitment services and placing a range of individuals from Business Analysts to Heads of Electronic Trading incorporating an interesting mix of Product Specialists, Presales and Sales people in areas as diverse as Front Office Trading to Hedge Fund and Private Equity Administration. We place candidates in a salary bracket that ranges from £50,000 to £500,000 and we are a preferred supplier to a number of leading financial organisations.

Riversdale Consulting provides a unique service to clients bridging the gap between traditional Search Organisations and Recruitment Agencies by providing clients with all the benefits of a retained search but with the cost benefits of a normal recruitment assignment. To enable us to continue growing this part of our business we are currently recruiting a dynamic and truly motivated Research Consultant to assist with a number of high level assignments that we will be involved in the latter part of this year a throughout 2010.

Working with our Head of Research you will be given thorough training in all aspects of targeted research and after this initial training period be capable of working independently to provide real value during the recruitment process. By using a combination of online databases, advertising and traditional research methods you should be capable of mapping specific business areas, identifying prospective senior level candidates and making the initial contact with these individuals.


To fulfil this position you should be confident and have the capability to perform the following tasks;-


The identification of candidates for our current opportunities by extensive research on various external databases and through internal research and networking.


The willingness and ability to brief candidates on suitable roles and the prepping of candidates for client interview.


The ability to work closely with a Senior Recruitment Consultant and assist them in managing the logistics of the recruitment process – from interview through to offer.


Maintaining and updating the candidate database and marketing job opportunities to both new and existing candidates.


To develop long term, trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with candidates and clients.


To attend client meetings and have the ability to understand a clients requirements.


To communicate the clients requirements to candidates clearly and effectively.


To be organised and methodical during the recruitment process so you are aware of exactly what is happening at any given time.


To have the ability and drive to progress from a pure research position into a more senior research or account management role where you would take responsibility for your own assignments.
