Our client is a leader in the provision of front office technology solutions within the Investment Banking and Investment Management sector. Following a successful 2008 they are now looking for an additional results oriented Senior Sales Executive to sell into financial community into a defined territory within EMEA.

This is an excellent opportunity with a significant basic and excellent commission structure.

To qualify for this role you should be an;-

Experienced senior enterprise wide software sales executive with proven track record of success selling software solutions to the UK asset management or investment banking sector.
Educated to degree level.
Demonstrable and sustained success within early stage software companies. Ideally accompanied by success within larger software companies. Roles with 3+ year’s tenure. Sales values in six figures (GBP). Proven track record of meeting quarterly sales targets. Experienced at both direct and indirect sales.
Experience of selling real time applications obviously a distinct advantage.
Comfortable selling both to the business and technology.
Comfortable with defining and communicating value propositions.
Hungry and tenacious.

Skills;-

Ability to initiate and sustain relationships with large and medium sized investment banking, investment management firms and hedge funds
Ability to deal successfully equally with IT and non-IT business functions
Confidence and credibility to work at Managing Director, VP, CIO level plus all other senior, middle management and junior roles as required to develop and close sales
Good understanding of business process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Analytical yet empathetic approach to problem solving at customer level
Experience of working with and leveraging channel partners and systems integrators
Excellent long term relationship builder and team player
Ability to work both independently and as a team member

Responsibilities;-

Reach sales goals set by management
Develop a customer base necessary to meet all sales quotas
Maintain a high level of company and product knowledge
Produce and maintain strategic account plans for target accounts incorporating:
o New business target revenue for that account for stated fiscal year
o Key organisational structure with name, position and contact details
o Contact plan for above including objectives for reaching stated key contacts together with timescales
o Planned engagement approach and account development activity
Prospecting for new business, preparing/presenting proposals and maintaining relationships with customers, prospective customers and partners.
Serve as a point of contact for customer business issues
Attend trade shows and company meetings as required
Weekly on-time reporting of sales pipeline and forecasting information

Self motivated and able to work under pressure
Professional manner and excellent inter-personal skills
Flexible approach
Willingness to travel within Europe as and when required
